GS Encyclopedia Capture Guide
(FYI, the Ecyclopedia doesn't seem to have any outstanding information that isn't already on this site)
The "game" operates like a court record. Click on character and evidence photos to view their descriptions. The bottom left button is always "back." It keeps track of all the articles you've viewed, and once you hit 100% all of four secret sections open up. Here's a brief description on how to navigate:
The main screen has three options: Series References, Already Viewed References, and Secrets.
Click on Series References to bring you to the Select a Game Section. By selecting a game, it takes you to the Select a Case Section. Scroll left and right to find the case you want (the number is shown over the title), or click BGM to listen to the game's music.
Once you've selected a case, you get the following options: Case Descriptions, Characters, Backgrounds, and Evidence. Pretty self explanatory. In the Character section, you can click the lower right to see each person's animations.
The Already Viewed References keeps track of which pages you've looked at. They're arranged into 10 pages in Japanese alphabetical order. Think of it like the index page. You can view the full list below.
Once you get a certain percent (roughly every 25%) secrets start opening up. The secret sections are: Opening Movies, Ending Movies, Breakdown Animations, and Event Images.
It should save your progress automatically.
