Fanfic: One of Every Color

Your Name: Croik

Character's Name: Chassie Gander

Age: 23

Occupation: None (convict)

Brief Physical Description: Chassie is rather short and very thin, with a pale complexion and round, deep set eyes.  Her heavy black hair reaches just past her shoulders, and her bangs are cut straight across her eyebrows.  When not in a prison jumper she dresses all in black, with a trim suit coat and necktie, and a long, narrow skirt.

Brief Personality Description: Chassie is very soft spoken and usually very composed.  She says no more or less than is necessary, and shows very little emotion.  But on the inside she is very protective of her friends, and is able to hold onto a grudge for long periods of time.  When she's nervous she wrings her hands.

Connection to canon characters (if applicable):  Chassie is a close friend of Viola Cadaverini (Urami Shikabane).  In the fic she hires Phoenix Wright as her lawyer, and is acquainted with Miles Edgeworth in so much as he was the one that got her convicted.

Brief Background:  Chassie met Viola when she was very young, and thanks to their mutual appreciation for all things gothic and a little creepy, they became friends easily.  Because of this she was long suspected to be an associate of the Cadaverini family, and was investigated several times for dealings with them.

Roughly a year before the start of PW:AA, a small duplex was set on fire, killing the five people inside.  An eyewitness placed Chassie at the scene, and when police investigated they found evidence linking her to the arson.  Thanks to the bias already against her and the skills of Miles Edgeworth as prosecutor, she was easily convicted.  Viola spent several years and a lot of money going through lawyer after lawyer to try and get the verdict overturned, before finally turning to Phoenix Wright for help, a few months after the events of T&T.
