Ahlbi Ur'gaid / Bokuto Tsuaani

ボクト・ツアーニ

Age: 8
Gender: Male
Occupation: Monk-in-training/Tour Guid

Phoenix and Maya's tour guide in Khura'in, and defendant of AA6-1.

Personality: Ahlbi is chipper and endlessly devoted to his job as a tour guide. He loves Khura'in more than anything else, so as soon as someone gets onto the subject of the country's history or culture, he'll start rattling off facts like there's no tomorrow.

Misc Facts: Ahlbi's something of an amateur photographer, and likes to snap photos of Khura'inese culture.

Friends and Family: Keeps his pet dog Mitamaru in his bag, and looked up to 6-1's victim Paht. Director Yamazaki says he's actually the oldest of three kids, but this is never mentioned in-game. (Yamazaki also jokes his siblings might be named "Oreto" and "Kimito", matching "Bokuto".)

Name Origin:
English: "Ahlbi Ur'gaid" = "I'll be your guide".

Japanese: "Boku to tsua ni" = "On a tour with me".

Background: Ahlbi is a young boy in the early stages of training to become a monk. He comes from a somewhat poor family, so to help make ends meet he also works as a tour guide. He met Maya some time before the start of the game, and at her request went to show Phoenix around the capitol.

Spoiler: AA6-1
Ahlbi's obsession with anything Khura'inese led him to break one of the temple's most serious rules - namely, that nobody could set eyes on the national treasure kept there, the Founder's Orb. Ahlbi would sneak down to the treasure room regularly to get a good look at it, and was on his way there once again when he bumped into Paht just before he was killed.
