Self-proclaimed director of the Hotti clinic who appears in JFA case 2. Is
not actually a doctor. Personality: The clinic director is always willing to examine a pretty girl. He also doesn't seem to have any qualms about breaking doctor-patient privilege, as he's eager to spread gossip and tell the secrets he's learned. Misc Facts: Not a licensed doctor. Be careful! He appears again in JFA case 4. Friends and Family: None. Name Origin: English: Probably comes from "hottie", as in the women Dr. Hotti prefers to work with. Japanese: Named after the Hotta Clinic, which may come from bottakuri, which means "will overcharge you." French: Comes from ça chauffe meaning, "this is getting hot". Background: None |

in the series. Personality: Unknown. Misc Facts: None Friends and Family: Founder of the Fey clan. Name Origin: English: Picked so that the letters can be easily rearranged to "I am." Also said to come from the Buddha Amitābha. Japanese: When the kanji for Kyouko are reversed it spells kodomo, which means "child." This is an important clue in more than one GS case.
